Shore things Doylestown "American Idol" alum Justin Guarini was dancing and flirting with a cute blonde Saturday night at Jerry Blavat's club Memories in Margate (Amherst & Madison). There with Guarini was whacked "Sopranos" alum David Proval, who played Richie Aprile, and producer Sal Mazzotta, who is working with Guarini and Proval on an upcoming project, "The Unknown." http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/entertainment/11888933.htm

related story....
I had a friend call me Sunday night to tell me that that night (or maybe the night before, I don't remember exactly) that she saw Justin in Margate at a restaurant I love called The Greenhouse. She saw him sitting at the bar drinking a Yuengling (I said are you sure it wasn't Guiness??? haha) with someone who appeared to be his manager (after deductive reasoning I figured out it was Sal and gave her all the details I knew about the movie) My friend told me she went up to Justin and talked to him for a bit, asked for a picture and I quote her "feeling like a big loser asking him to take a picture there" haha She said he was the nicest guy she had ever met! He was just sitting there like a "normal person in a t-shirt and jeans" (quoting her again) and was so unbelievably nice to her. I of course said I wasn't surprised!

Okay, I was running out the door before and couldn't put everything in the report from Anthony that I wanted to then, because of lack of time. But I wanted to post before I left about the confirmaiton of the receipt of our check.
Now, about the couple of other things: Anthony said that "they" had gone to Atlantic City with Justin for a couple of days after the game, for business. Justin left for LA last night but would be coming back to Philly in a couple of weeks. He said that Justin would most likely be working in the Philly area more often in the future and that it was also likely that Justin would be working on more projects with Sal Mazzotta as well as more charity projects with himself.
I appreciate so much the report and the gratitude from Anthony, and now we have two websites to check: the Children's World Organization and the Eagle Films, Inc. website. We can look for updates there from these two fine, patient folks (Sal and Anthony) and we have no reason to bother these guys again--we can just check their websites for updates! They are very kind and patient and helpful. Kudos to both of them.

Ask the Geator
By Jerry Blavat
Once again, greetings and salutations. The whole gang's back and Memories is in full bloom, as evidenced by the return of the Longport crew, the Canusos, the O'Learys, the Ocean City guys and gals, and the Geator Gold dancers, who make Memories the place to be on Friday nights. And the stars were out in full force, including Dave Proval of The Sopranos, Sal Mazzotta of The Father, the Son, and American Idol's Justin Guarini, all at Nigel's bar Saturday night.
